Kiraly’s Barcelona Adventure

Verde’s Kevin Kiraly flew straight to Orlando for the Dew Tour finals last weekend from Barcelona where he was filming for Deadline. Hear what he has to say about his journey after the jump.
“Recently I went on a DEADLINE filming trip for 10 days to the greatest place on earth for BMX and skateboarding: Barcelona, Spain. The 13-hour flight was nothing; I slept the whole time. The first day we rode around and realized that the city is huge and knew we wouldn’t see 1/12 of the spots. The trip was crazy. We partied a lot, had a lot of fun, and did a lot of riding. We did get screwed out of a couple days due to injuries, hotel problems, and fights… But we still got it done. I couldn’t have gone with a better crew. The Deadline crew consisted of myself, Garrett Reynolds, Ty Morrow, Auggie Simoncinies, Colin Varanyak, JJ Palmere, Jesse and Brian Carter, and also our photographer, nasty Chris Marshall. They are all the best guys in world and are like a bunch of brothers to me. Well, the trip came to an end and we were all sad but I was psyched to go home. I was sick the whole time and really sore, but I do know I’m definitely making it back there some day. Special thanks to our friends/tour guides Juan and Fernando, those guys are the best and you’ll know exactly what I mean if you know or ever meet them. Peace!”
