The points have been re-counted and the challenge books don’t lie; Verde is the 2011 Ride To Glory champion. Ride UK just published this RTG congratulations ad in issue #153 (out now). The official print coverage from RTG will appear in issue #154, which won’t hit news stands until July 18th. Special thanks go out to Shiner Distribution and Verde UK TM Martyn Tambling for making this trip possible.
Unity BMX, our distributor in Germany, has added Markus Wilke to their flow team. We’ve all been fans of Markus since back in the MOSH days and we’re excited to see him riding a Verde. Markus built up a Cartel Kiraly frame with Cartel forks, Cartel Yeagle bars, a Verde React sprocket, and a Verde x Pendleton Pivotal seat. You can check out a bunch of photos of Markus’ bike after the jump.
Our new print ad featuring Lima from Issue #153 of Ride UK is out now. Walter Pieringer shot the photo while Lima was in Austin a few months back. In case you didn’t know, Lima kills it.
Our longtime friend Nathan Fons just built up a Cartel Yeagle kit and sent over some pics of his new whip. Trail season is in full swing in Colorado right now, so Nathan rigged up a bike rack for his motorcycle so he could ride to the trails. There’s a Life? Colorado trail edit after the jump featuring Nathan, Ted Van Orman, and Adam Baker. If you love watching fun trail lines and good style, you should definitely check it out. Glad you’re stoked on your new ride, Fons!
Drew York will be representing Verde at Ed’s Games in Vineland, New Jersey this Saturday, June 4th. The contest starts at noon and there’s a free raffle with over $6,000 in prizes. Thanks to Carol and Ed Abbott from Ed’s Bike Shop for all of their hard work putting on this awesome annual event for the local riders. We’re excited to be a part of it. If you’re in the area, come out this Saturday and meet Drew.
