Mike Netley just put out a preview of Case Issue #5 which is full of Verde love. Yeagle shot a six page article (shown above) on Pittsburgh’s Hazelwood trails. There’s Yeagle coverage in the Anthem 2 article and also a Mike Ardelean feature. Lima Eltham, our new UK connect, is a contributor too. The new issue of Case is currently available in the UK and will be available here in the U.S. next week.
Verde UK TM Martyn Tambling didn’t waste any time getting started… Verde UK is pleased to welcome Lima Eltham to the team. Lima has made a big impact on the UK scene over the past few years both on and off the contest scene. Whether he’s riding the local trails or going big at a contest, Lima continues to stand out. Welcome aboard, Lima!
Martyn Tambling has been appointed as the new Verde UK team manager by our UK distributor, Shiner. Martyn has been on the Verde UK team for a while now and we’re excited about his new gig for Verde UK. To celebrate and help make it official, Martyn put together this edit at Prime Skatepark.
Good news to report. Yeagle was released from the hospital last night and he’s in great spirits. He’s scheduled to fly back to Pittsburgh on Tuesday. Thanks to everyone for all of their support for Brian.
On January 15, 2011 Brian Yeagle took a really hard slam to his head while in Las Vegas on a Verde filming trip. He sustained a fractured skull and minor bleeding in his brain. Brian is in stable condition, perfectly coherent and in good spirits. He is spending tonight at the Sunrise Hospital in Las Vegas and will be seeing more doctors in the morning to figure out whats’s next. Drew York, Yeagle, Dave T, Kiraly, and Justin Burns (along with Verde TM Will Stroud) made an appearance at Just BMX in Vegas yesterday afternoon, signing autographs for the locals. The Verde team’s in Vegas filming for an upcoming web edit. Vital’s Kyle Carson has been showing the team around, hoping that they don’t shut down all of his local spots. Will Stroud checked in this afternoon and according to him, Kevin and Dave already SHUT DOWN this rail spot. More good things are yet to come.
