Dave (right) and Elf (middle) were holdin it down at Heath/Lonnie’s St Patty’s day jam. I’m sure you’ve all seen the videos from what seemed like a killer time. I attended last year’s jam with an IV in my arm healing up from a staph infection; not a good time. Dave recently folded his hand backwards and heard some crunching noises!! He’s muscling through it. Heal up quick for summer!

Dave Thompson is one of the lesser known Verde team riders. Get to know him.

1. Are you from Utah or Idaho?
>>> Well I lived in Salt Lake when I was little, then my parents moved to Cody, Wyoming. Then I moved back to SLC, then to Boise, Idaho and then Montana for about two years, then back to Salt Lake.

2. How long did you film for the 50/50 video and are you satisfied with your part?
>>> We filmed for about 8 months… well I did. Yeah I am (satisfied). Jordan did an amazing job.

3. Where’s someplace you’d like to travel and why?
>>> Scotland to see my homeland.

4. How do you pass time during the winter?
>>> Hang out with friends, golf, and go snowboarding occasionally.

5. Do you have any tips for fighting foot odor?
>>> Yeah, only wear your socks once and (wear) new shoes regularly.

6. How much does it cost to fill the tank in your van?
>>> Around 100 dollars with the current gas prices.

7. Who do you ride with the most in Salt Lake City?
>>> Probably Elf, but I usually ride with anyone.

8. What are your favorite pass times off your bike?
>>> Baseball and just about all of it.
