Seth Rogen is at it again. This time with a stoner flic titled “Pineapple Express” and from the looks of the trailer will not disappoint. Dr Weed approved!!
A snowstorm is busy wrecking much of the right side of America, so stay off the roads. Keep warm and take a look back at Kris Bennett’s hard work in the Demoliton video (2002). Kris still rides for Demolition today. With weather like this we all wish Bennett still owned his AMC Eagle.

In conjunction with the Odyssey Electronical premier Jeff Z of RideBMX launched a website to showcase his photos. While cruising through his visuals I came across a photo of myself from a Seventies trip we took years ago. After we shot this photo we headed South to Hastings and got flashed by a pair of Scottish ladies!!

The ever elusive Brian Yeagle has been spotted in Austin, Texas. Unfortunately his visit has already been cut short by some stitches in his knee. Rather than sit around the Lone Star State, Brian’s flying home to heal. He’ll rejoin his bike in Texas next month. In the meantime, take yet another look at his Dig interview from issue 36.

The new issue of BMX Plus! includes a test of our top of the line Cadet. They like the bike and embrace the fact that BMX is becoming more and more brakeless. Pick up the April issue to read all about it. Also of note, our friend Greg Sumida appears on the cover. Greg currently resides in Reno, but lived with Ryan Barrett and Chris Doyle in Pittsburgh. See the whole cover here. (more…)

Ardelean has been riding a Verde Cadet for a few weeks now. He recently updated it with an Odyssey teal color kit. Thanks for the pics Mike. See some more photos… (more…)

Verde isn’t Mike Ardelean’s only new sponsor. Odyssey parts grace his Verde Cadet. Mike will certainly be in attendance at tomorrow’s video premiere. Our friends at Odyssey bring you Electronical. 9 to 5 Films Will Stroud and Chad Shackelford have been traveling the world for the past year to make Electronical a reality. Everything these dudes do is amazing. The premiere takes place tomorrow, Wednesday, February 13th at The Rec Center Studio in Los Angeles. Doors open at 7:30 PM. Be sure to allow extra time for LA traffic.

We’re proud to introduce Verde’s newest team member; Mike Ardelean. His recent departure from Mosh brings us the opportunity to add a good friend and great rider to the team. Style, skill, and execution aren’t the only reasons why we like Mike. Ideas, originality, and creativity define what Verde Bikes is all about. Mike brings a lot to Verde. Welcome to the team.

Portland is host to the North American Handmade Bike Show this weekend. My friend Jordan Hufnagel, formerly of Lifeline Clothing from Austin Texas, is displaying several bikes. I work with Jordan assembling his creations. Not much BMX to see, but some classy bikes for sure. check out hufnagelcycles to see more of Jordan’s work and stop by the booth to say hello!
